Cookie Choices

A small preference record should be easy to understand and easy to change.

What the site's own code uses

The site's own scripts do not set HTTP cookies, load analytics, run advertising trackers or embed third-party widgets. If you use the preference controls below, a record is saved in your browser's localStorage. Unlike a cookie, localStorage is not automatically sent with every page request.

This record exists only to remember your choice. The site currently has no optional analytics or advertising features to enable, so selecting Accept does not start tracking. Selecting Essential Only leaves the same core reading and message preparation functions available.

Review your preference

Checking this browser's saved preference…

You can change this choice at any time here. It applies to this browser and this site's origin only.

Storage record

NameType and purposeDuration
jwg-cookie-preferenceFirst-party localStorage. Stores “accepted” or “essential” after you choose a preference.Until replaced by a new choice or removed through browser site-data controls.

The record contains no name, email address or message text. There is no unique advertising identifier in this site's preference value.

Contact previews and downloaded files

The contact tool holds its current preview in the page while it is open. It does not save your message in localStorage. Copying places text on your clipboard, and downloading creates a file on your device. These are user-requested actions rather than cookies. Your browser and device may manage their own history, autofill, clipboard and backup records.

Managing or removing storage

Use your browser's privacy or site-data settings to view and delete data for junglewondergadget.site. Clearing site data removes the saved preference; a later visit will show that no choice is saved. Blocking storage does not prevent reading the articles, although the preference controls cannot remember a selection.

Private browsing and different browsers may keep separate records or discard them when a session ends. Browser interfaces vary, so consult your browser's own help for exact instructions.
